Thanks to Robert Parham for including us in his story about bloggers and the One Campaign.Baptist Bloggers Can Help Make Poverty History
Robert Parham
09-07-06 The One Campaign is a celebrity-centered effort to get the United States to allocate an additional 1 percent of the federal budget to fighting global poverty and AIDS, approximately $25 billion.
It has captured the imagination and backing of younger Americans, many of whom find moral affinity with Bono, who helped launch the One Campaign to rally American to a noble cause. Joining Bono and U2 are a Hollywood-studded cast of hundreds—Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Danny Glover, Jars of Clay, Dave Matthews.
The campaign wants to halve global poverty by 2015, one the United Nation's Millennium Development Goals. Its strategy includes international debt cancellation, fairer trade and better governments.

Awesome! You made the news!
Dude:
you're wrong about Bono, and you're wrong about the "ONE" campaign.
Here's how one can know you are wrong about Bono:
http://centuri0n.blogspot.com/2005/07/20-year-old-beef-book-review.html
That review demonstrates the kind of religion Bomno advocates, which can sound Christian even when it is looking down its nose at actual Christians.
There is also the problem of his use of the "Coexist" logo and his view that Jews, Muslims and Christians have no meaningful differences. You can read about that here:

Specifically, you have to account for Bono calling Jews, Christians and Muslims "all sons of Abraham" and saying "it is all true".
I'd be careful about using anything Kofi Annan's UN is attached to, if the doctrinal issues aren't enough for you.
